The ever curious mind of human is always striving to know more. Every bit of information, the brain stores and then relates it with the day to day life. All this effort is due to the urge to excel and grow. To move from darkness towards enlightenment.

The inspiration to know more, learn more and move forward  and evolve comes through Stories. 

Knowing this we have been using this art from time immemorial in the form of drama, films, plays, paintings, dance and music.

In kids, curiosity is deep and minds are open to explore. So stories play a great role in many aspects of their development.

Stories unfold diverse characters, their nature, the beauty of different lands, the lifestyles in different ages.
As the kids enjoy the fantasy, they even learn about the reality through stories.They learn about the consequences that come along with the actions making them thoughtful and considerate.

They learn to gather courage as well as be cautious at times taking the reference from stories and its characters.

Importance of values and ethics, the fruit goodness reaps, is learnt even without telling them the moral of the story.

Understanding and naming different emotions and relating them to oneself, dealing with the emotions in different situations comes easily through stories and its plots.

Stories can improve their imagination and can help them broaden their mindset and thinking.

Apart from this the vocabulary and language also get improved by listening or reading stories.

Stories can have a great impact on tender minds of children which can be the foundation for their life.

So start narrating stories to your kids. stories about your childhood, stories about your country, about the king and the queen or about the poor shepherd boy.  Tell them stories about valor, about generosity, from mythology, about scientists, about players. Stories are everywhere around you. Story of flowers, of river, of rocket, of computer.
